SYCHDYN POST OFFICE SERVICE

From the 28 March a temporary outreach service will he hosted at Sychdyn Memorial Hall on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

COMMUNITY GO-SAFE SCHEME / NORTH WALES POLICE

If you have concerns about speeding traffic in the area, here is an opportunity to log those concerns directly with Go Safe by using the on-line form.  If you would like to volunteer on the Community Go Safe Scheme, please see the background information, FAQs and application form.  

NORTHOP COMMUNITY COUNCIL’S RESIDENTS AWARD 2019-20


Northop Community Council represents the communities of Northop and Sychdyn villages and Members are pleased to announce the launch of this year’s Awards to residents for their contribution to the community.

There will be 2 awards for outstanding achievement/voluntary service:

Information on how to nominate a resident for the awards can be found in the Guidance Notes and the Nomination Form.  


The closing date for nominations is Friday 27th November, 2019.



WELSH GOVT. CONSULTATION - DEESIDE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT STUDY - RESPONSE

The Welsh Govt’s consultation sought responses on proposed improvements to traffic flow, including a choice between widening the existing route from Queensferry to Northop (Blue Route) or building a new road through open land from Oakenholt to Northop (Red Route). The Welsh Govt’s response is expected sometime during September.  More information can be viewed on-line.
